User flow error codes

This page lists all error codes returned in the user flow. These are returned as statuscode on the status URL / ErrorURLBase.

insufficientauthpermission - User is not allowed to sign the document because authentication is not approved.

Error text displayed to the end user:

" You do not have permission to sign this document.<br/>The authentication was not approved.<br/><br/>Please contact {merchantname}."

This error message is mainly for IBS (Identification before signing) is required or ABS (Authentication based Signing).

blank cvr value - blankcvr

Error text: "You are not authorized to represent any company or do not have a Business ID. Please check your registration."

This error message is displayed when information about the user’s company is requested through MitID Business flow, and where the user has authenticated with a private identity with no registered relation to a company.

documenturlexpired - Expired document URL

The document's URL has expired.

errorauthenticating - Authentication error

Error text displayed to the end user:

"An error occurred during authentication. The request could not be completed. Try again or contact your eID issuer."

Contact support with the OrderID if you need more details about the error.

errorsigningdocument - Error signing the document

Error text displayed to the end user:

"An error has occurred. The signing could not be completed. Try again or contact your eID issuer."

generalerror - General error

Error text displayed to end user:

"An error has occurred. Please try again or contact the web site that issued the sign request."

Default error message that in most cases relates to error at the client side. Contact support with the OrderID to get more details about the error.

insufficientsignpermission - User not allowed to sign the document

Error text displayed to the end user:

"You do not have permission to sign this document. The signing was not approved. Please contact {merchantname}."

invalidforcepkivendor - Invalid forcepkivendor value

Error text displayed to the end user:

"Invalid forcepkivendor."

The identification request includes one or more invalid values for the "forcepkivendor" parameter. Read for more information about the parameter.

invalidid - Your eID is not valid

Your eID is not valid. Contact the eID provider.

lookupfailed - Company lookup failed

Error text displayed to end user:

"An error occurred in the communication with Virk (http://virk.dk ). We could not verify whether or not you are authorised to represent this company. Please retry later or contact <Name of customer>."

orgmismatch - No company found related to CPR

Error text displayed to end user:

"In accordance to Virk (http://virk.dk ) you are not authorized to represent this company and signing of the document could not be completed. Please check your registration at Virk or contact <Name of customer>."

signprocesstimeout - Sign process timeout

Error text displayed to the end user:

"The server timed out while waiting for the request. Please try again."

signrefnotfound - Sign reference is not found

Error text displayed to the end user:

"Document signing can not be completed. This could be due to:

The deadline for signing has expired.
You have already signed the document.
You have already refused to sign.
The document has been withdrawn by the issuer.
Invalid address."

uid.blocked - Certificate or eID blocked

Error text displayed to the end user:

"The certificate has been blocked or temporarily revoked."

Contact support with the OrderID if you need more details about the error.

uid.expired - Expired certificate or eID

Error text displayed to the end user:

"The certificate has expired."

Contact support with the OrderID if you need more details about the error.

uid.invalid - Invalid certificate or eID

Error text displayed to the end user:

"The certificate is invalid or cannot be used."

Contact support with the OrderID if you need more details about the error.

uid.revoked - Revoked certificate or eID

Error text displayed to the end user:

"The certificate has been revoked."
