We are excited to announce the integration of Buypass as an electronic identity (eID) provider in our authentication services for Norwegian users. Buypass offers secure, high-assurance identity verification through Buypass ID, available on both mobile devices and smart cards.
This integration enhances trust and security in digital services, aligning with national eID standards in Norway.

In addition to traditional eID methods, Buypass now also supports FIDO (Fast Identity Online) authentication. This enables passwordless, phishing-resistant login using registered FIDO authenticators such as:

3. Platform authenticators (built-in OS/browser support)
